Jeff Tokar


Jeff is a 33-year veteran professional firefighter including 29 years of service with the Garland, Texas Fire Department.  He holds a Masters Degree in Executive Fire Service Leadership, NFA Executive Fire Officer Certification, Texas Master Firefighter and Texas Fire Instructor II certifications, served four terms at President of the Texas Association of Fire Educators, was an inaugural member of the Texas Task Force 1 USAR TEAM, and has been a certified Instructor with the Texas Department of Health.  Since 1989 Jeff has worked with national public emergency responder training ultimately holding the position of Director of Education for FETN and PULSE Emergency Medical Update with CINet until March 2014.  He brings PSA911 a unique blend of service as an emergency first responder, educator, and vastly experienced in broadcast production.

    Nate Roberts, Esq, is an information technologist and business consultant who for more than 25 years has counseled and represented companies of all size from start-up entrepreneurial companies to Fortune 200. With advanced degrees and proficiency in both law and business management, he possesses the ability to understand the challenges faced by businesses not only from a legal but also a managerial and business perspective. His education and background have prepared him well to lead the daily operations of a variety of companies.


      Lesa L. Russo

      Lesa Russo comes to Public Safety America with a wide range of experience in Marketing, Management and Fund Development.  Lesa’s leadership on numerous Non-Profit boards equips her with the necessary skills required to serve as Chief Development Officer. Having worked both in the Non-Profit world and the Corporate Environment in Management Lesa has successfully led teams to achieve and surpass goals.  She has the unique ability to see the vision and develop a plan to reach the vision while engaging a powerful team along the way.  Lesa is excited to be able to help First Responders nationwide increase their training in areas most important to their safety.


        Lonny Wilder

        VP & Chief Learning Officer

        Lonny Wilder is a career executive and specialist in the field of Public Safety training and communications. Most recently Lonny served as Vice President and General Manager of the Critical Information Network, Public Safety Group comprising the Law Enforcement Training Network (LETN), Professional Security Training Network (PSTN) and the Fire and Emergency Training Network (FETN).

        Lonny served on the start-up team for the Law Enforcement Television Network (LETN) in 1989 and in 1998 wrote the original business plan that began the company’s migration to the e-learning and online training space. He was the Program Administrator for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC’s) Rural Policing Institute training initiative delivering on-line training to rural police departments nationwide. He also serves on the Technical Committee for the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training.

        Lonny was the Project Manager and GSA Contract Administrator for the creation of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Television Network (CBP-TV), a seven year Master Services Agreement delivering training and emergency communications 24/7 to 540 CBP encrypted satellite sites.

        In 2002, Lonny authored the grant and secured the award from the DHS Office for Domestic Preparedness providing training and emergency communications to every Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement agency in the states of New Hampshire and Kansas.

        From 1989 – 2007 Lonny served as Contract Officer and Project Manager for the Continuing Services Agreement with the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration directing all production and Project Order Compliance for NHTSA’s Law Enforcement training curriculum.

        In 2011, working in concert with the National Association of School Resource Officers, Lonny completed production of an 11-hour video-based online curriculum specific to Campus Security.

        Over the past twenty-eight years, Lonny has been a speaker and active participant in numerous events, committees and advisory boards within the community of Public Safety constituent associations. Lonny is currently EVP and Chief Learning Officer for Public Safety America 911, a 501(c)(3) created to provide Continuing Education for Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters and EMS professionals nationwide.
